If you are a Scottish applicant wanting to study at a Scottish university, you will not be charged a tuition fee. You can still apply for a maintenance loan to help fund your living costs whilst at university. The amount you receive is dependent on your household income and whether you choose to live at home.
If you are a Scottish applicant but want to study at a university anywhere else in the UK, you will be charged up to £9,000 per year. You are eligible to apply for a tuition fee and maintenance loan.
If you are from anywhere else in the UK and you want to study at a Scottish university, you will be charged up to £9,000 per year. You will need to apply for student finance via the same process for all other universities and you will be eligible for a loan.
