The UBS Award for Outstanding Students

For the past four years, Pure Potential has teamed up with leading investment bank UBS to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the brightest state-school sixth form students in the country. UBS host an exclusive event and present each successful student with an award for outstanding achievement.

This award makes an excellent addition to a student’s personal statement. It also gives him or her the opportunity to take part in a networking skills session as well as meet junior and senior representatives from one of the world’s largest investment banks and learn about the work they do.

To be eligible for the award students must:

• have achieved at least 180 UCAS points in their AS examinations (or equivalent)
• give us the contact details of a teacher at their school who can support their application
• be available on the afternoon and evening of the Awards event

Successful applicants, along with one guest, are invited to attend the ceremony in London. Students traveling from outside London can claim up to £25 back for their travel expenses.
