PP: Law 2014 - Wednesday 16th April

A free insight event for university students who want to launch their career in the legal sector - applications for PP: Law 2014 are now open!

Pure Potential is working in partnership with leading law firms to host an event for students interested in kick-starting their career in the legal sector. PP: Law offers undergraduate students from across the UK the chance to develop their knowledge of the legal sector, receive advice from experts on applying to vacation schemes and training contracts, and gain valuable tips on how to ace partner interviews and assessment days.

In addition, students will have the unique opportunity to visit the offices of a law firm where you will spend the afternoon networking with trainees, associates and partners, participate in a legal case study and receive insider advice from the graduate recruitment team on how make a successful application. Last year, the following firms hosted students at their offices:



Eligibility


  • This event is open to students who are studying both law and non-law degrees at university
  • Students must have achieved a minimum of ABB for their A-Levels (320 UCAS Points) or equivalent
  • Students must have attended a state school or college (non-fee paying)

If you do not meet the grade requirements but there are any extenuating circumstances to explain this, please apply and give your reason on the form.

PP: Law is a very popular event and we are always inundated with applications. We will be awarding places on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply today. Please feel free to invite all friends who meet the criteria to join you at the event - please encourage them to complete the online booking form as soon as possible. 

Travel Bursary


Those students traveling to the event from outside of the M25 and who receive a full grant from the Government for their tuition fees are eligible to claim for a £25 travel bursary. Please email binda[at]purepotential.org to receive further details about the travel bursary.
