We organise our own Pure Potential events to offer high quality advice on university applications, school leaver programmes and careers -  any event below that begins with 'PP' is a Pure Potential event. We also partner with leading companies that offer events, open days, insight days, internships, work experience and even full time jobs - some of which are exclusive to students registered with us.

If applications are not open yet for your chosen event please register your interest with us by emailing info(a)purepotential.org with your name, email address, which year you are in, your mobile number and the first two digits of your postcode.

Ernst & Young School Leavers

For Year 13 students, vacancies open NOW.

Top professional services firm Ernst & Young are looking for Year 13 students to join their school leaver programme. If you're interested in launching your career in the financial sector then this is a fantastic opportunity. They have vacancies in Aberdeen, Cambridge, Glasgow, London, Luton, Newcastle, Reading and Southampton.

PP: Finance Event

For Year 12 & 13 students, applications open in September 2013.

Pure Potential is launching a brand new event for sixth formers who want to find out more about the variety of careers in finance. If you are interested in making contacts at top companies, learn how to get your foot in the door of one of the most competitive industries and finding out the difference between accountancy, investment banking, insurance, professional services and securities and more, then this event is for you.

UBS Award for Outstanding Students

For Year 13 students, applications open in September 2013.

For the fourth time Pure Potential will be teaming up with leading investment bank UBS to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the brightest state-school sixth form students in the country. Successful applicants, along with one guest, will be invited to attend an awards ceremony in London in November. Read about the event in more detail by clicking on the above link.

PP: School Leavers Event

For Year 12 & 13 students, applications open in January 2014.

If you are thinking of bypassing university and going straight into a career then this event is the perfect opportunity for you to learn about the benefits of school leaver programmes, develop key skills which will help you with your job applications and meet representatives from a range of career sectors to learn more about what they can offer you.

PP: Mathematicians Event

For Year 12 students, applications open in January 2014.

Are you interested in studying a maths-related course at university? Want to know more about what it might be like and what you can do after you graduate? PP: Mathematicians is a great opportunity for students to meet lecturers from the University of Cambridge whilst networking with current undergraduates, learning about various course and career options for university and beyond.

PP: Law Event

For first-year university undergraduates, applications open in January 2014.

An event for undergraduates who are interested in a jump-starting their career in the legal sector. Open to both law and non-law students, this event offers students the opportunity to learn about vacation schemes, training contracts, the application process and much more. Students also have the rare opportunity to visit the offices of a leading law firm to participate in a legal case study and network with trainees, partners and members of the graduate recruitment team.

PP: Sixth Summer Events

For Year 12 & 13 students, applications open in March 2014.

Want to learn more about the benefits of going to university? Need help with writing your personal statement? Not sure about the new student finance situation? Our PP: Sixth events are designed to help state school sixth form students with all aspects of their university application, as well as the opportunity to attend hour-long career workshops run by top graduate employers. This is an extremely valuable experience which looks great in a personal statement.

Norton Rose Fulbright - Legal Insight Day

For Year 12 students (starting Year 13 in September 2013), applications now closed.

If you are looking to kick-start your career in the legal sector our Legal Insight Day held in partnership with Norton Rose Fulbright is the perfect event. We are offering 40 students the chance to learn about routes into law, hear from top professionals and network with partners.
