Slaughter and May is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious law firms in the world. We advise on high profile and groundbreaking international transactions and have an excellent and varied client list.

The firm is organised into groups which undertake a spread of work encouraging lawyers to work on an extensive range of corporate, commercial and financing matters as well as developing an expertise in specialist areas.

Much of the work spans the globe. The international nature of our practice means that our trainees and associates have the opportunity to work abroad, either in our overseas offices or on secondment with our ‘best friends’.

There are approximately 90 vacancies for trainee solicitors each year. As well as training contracts we also offer work experience placements at Easter and during the summer, Christmas workshops, and a 1st year open day in April.
