What is a Pure Potential Ambassador?
A Pure Potential Ambassador informs teachers and other students about our free events and our website which help students with their university and career decisions.
Why become a Pure Potential Ambassador?
Pure Potential exists because state school students are not fairly represented at the top universities in the UK. By getting involved in this project you will be making a very positive difference to our society. Becoming a Pure Potential Ambassador is a position of responsibility, which means it will make a great addition to your personal statement or CV. If you keep us posted of your Ambassador activities we will be happy to give you a reference.
What does it involve?
- Informing teachers, parents and students about the Pure Potential website and events
- Encouraging friends to come with you to a Pure Potential event
- Perhaps giving a talk during an assembly to your schools or college
- Regularly writing on the forum, starting threads and talking to other students online
Will I be able to fit this in with my school work?
Yes, we don’t intend for the role to take over your life! Just telling friends at school and at other schools, and making sure your teacher is aware of Pure Potential is all we ask.
Is this a paid role?
No, being a Pure Potential Ambassador is a voluntary position.
