Inspiring Potential Insight Day

The HSBC Inspiring Potential Insight day is offered to students in Year 13, studying A – levels the chance to learn more about our industry. Through a series of interactive presentations and workshops you will have the opportunity to learn more about our firm and culture. The day will include networking with business representatives across all divisions which will enable you to get a sense of the varying roles available.

The ‘Inspiring Potential’ insight day, which takes place in July, has been designed to provide access to the role models, information and training required to make informed decisions regarding your career.

Aspiring Female Potential

The HSBC Aspiring Female Potential Three-day insight programme, will give year 13 female students the opportunity to learn about HSBC, our Global businesses and our diverse culture.

The Aspiring Female Potential Programme, which takes place in August, has been designed with the view that not everyone knows what they want to do when they leave university, never mind school. As a final year A-Level student, you’ll gain an early insight into the world of investment banking and you’ll be offered a glimpse of what the future could hold for you.

You’ll spend three days with us, learning about the various functions of a global investment bank, meeting inspirational people from across HSBC, and developing skills that will be beneficial not only at school but at university and beyond. It’s a chance for you to strengthen your CV and gain practical networking opportunities for your future.

Spring Insight Programme

For first-year undergraduates, we offer a four-day Spring Insight Programme. The Spring Insight Programme is designed to give you an introduction to the Global Banking and Markets, Global Private Bank, Global Asset Management and HSBC Securities Services businesses through interactive learning sessions, workshops, a trading floor tour, networking events and work shadowing.

Markets Operations Apprenticeship Programme

This twelve month programme beginning in October 2015 offers you the opportunity to develop am expertise in one of the most important areas of the Markets Operations business. The programme gives you first hand experience in managing and controlling the processing of trades and complex transactions and providing post trade support, preparing you for a successful career path as an Operations Analyst within Markets Operations in HSBC London.

We are looking for final year college students who are undertaking their A level’s or equivalent and are on track to achieve ABB of higher. We are keen to hear from people who want to be involved, who are able to navigate and ultimately, make a difference.

Summer Analyst Programme

In your penultimate year of university, you can join our ten-week structured Summer Analyst Programme across a range of global business areas. One thing these opportunities have in common is a chance to impress us with your abilities and be fast-tracked to the next programme, or get offered a full-time graduate position.

Graduate Programme

For graduates, that means there’s a platform and support for talent that offers global experience and exposure to new markets.
